Wests Convention Centre is fully equipped with first-class conference facilities and technology to meet all your business requirements. Our well appointed conference and function rooms have the capacity to hold functions for up to 700 and can be tailored to suit any occasion including gala dinners, special events, sales presentations, conferences, training seminars and product launches.
The Starlight Room provides a prestigious backdrop for any large event. The venue provides live performance staging facilities and 3 giant motorised screens for professional presentations and video reproduction.
Day and residential packages are available with accommodation provided by The Executive Inn, Newcastle's premier business hotel.

Located 5 klms from the heart of Newcastle we provide the services of a cosmopolitan hotel with the scenic beauty and friendliness expected of a country town.
Our location provides easy access from Newcastle Airport, only 25 minutes by shuttle or cab and we are an easy hour drive from both Port Stephens in the North and Hunter Valley Wine Country in the west.
Sydney is 2 hours drive and access to Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Coffs Harbour is provided by daily flights from major domestic carriers into Newcastle Airport.

134 tastefully appointed rooms with minibar, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, remote control television, VCR and clock radio. We provide a diverse range of dining options. Our restaurants (7 in all) have options to suite every taste and occasion. Recreational faciities include 2 heated outdoor pools and spa set in lush tropical gardens. These pools are the centre of our establishment and provide an embience and elegance to the venue.

Our inhouse guests are provided with complimentary pass to our 2 level fitness centre.

The Starlight room has capacity for 1000 making it one of the largest pillarless rooms in the Hunter Region.

Business Facilities

The Wests Group are the winners of many prestigious awards including Restaurant and Catering Association Awards, Hunter Regional Tourism Awards for Excellence, AHA and AMAA, plus Club Association Awards.
In 2004 The Wests Group were inducted into the Hall of Fame by NSW Tourism after winning our section for three years running. Consecutive awards have been won for Best Registered club from 2000 to 2007.
